Well, I'm glad you liked breakfast. After 30 years in the public sector, I do know how to select appropriate pastries! The start-up really is a wildly different work world and unfortunately, there is no free parking.
I was prompted to switch worlds to see if it's possible to help dramatically alter the face of education from outside the system. I love the challenge and the opportunity to gain new skills. And if I do happen to become a nerd, I can handle that too. :)

You are working your way down to that bookstore you always said you wanted to own. You first have to get used to smaller and smaller checks.
